On the Street Interviews - Americans Explain Iraq

In our defense, in a population of 300 million it is easy to find the uninformed. Nonetheless, this might be funny ... or painful ... it's hard to tell.

  1. I'd say that's more a problem of education. They look like they are hard wired at guessing on multiple choice tests. They are also hung up on some really unhealthy stereotypes.

I got a good laugh from it, though, and maybe a couple of tears, too. :/

  2. And BTW, I was talking about the people featured in the video. Not about all Americans. Hopefully that is more than evident.

  3. Chrlane,
The 'hardwired to answer multiple choice' quip seems to explain a lot. Stereotypes do seem to abound here. The thing I wonder about is whether we're witnessing swing voters.

  4. It's funny you should say that, because I was wondering the exact same thing, Ron.
