Damn...you beat me to it. It does seem the season for pause and reflection and just plain old re-assessment. Happy time off and I like your "Gone Fishing" cartoon.
I love a mystery. Was it blogger fatigue, a new hobby (golf, most likely), an overflowing "honey-do" list, a threatening letter from Department of Homeland Security, or carpel tunnel syndrome that prompted RWorld to take a break?
Whatever the case, I'll miss him (temporarily, I hope).
Enjoy yourself, Ron, and come back sooner rather than later.
I will miss Rwrld but, if you have come to this point, all I can add is that I am glad you are doing what you feel you must. That won't stop me from adding my voice to the choir and expressing that I hope you'll make a comeback. Thanks for all the thought-provoking posts. Milena
Nick, Dave, cce, Scott, LH & Milena, Thanks for stopping by when I wasn't even around. Now that's friendly. (He's not home, but we can just hang out on his porch for a bit.)
Mimi, I'll figure out how to respond soon. Thanks.
Norman, the sock remained behind because it is summer and who wears socks when they are on a warm weather break? Certainly not this blogger.
I await your return!
ReplyDeleteDon't like the parenthetical; but, I'll be here.

ReplyDeleteIt's clear, dear cuz, that R world is your world and not our world.
ReplyDeleteYour observations will be missed.

Why were the socks left behind? The shoes I understand, but the socks?
ReplyDeleteAnd will the lady pour whatever's in her bucket into the shoes?
And will they melt, or will they grow?
How long must I wait, Ron for the answer to these, and the many other questions your thoughts provoke?
Nick, Dave, cce, Scott, LH & Milena,
