The amazing mime Marcel Marceau died on the 24th of this month. Sadly, no one takes a mime's art or genius seriously. Rather than have a coffin, ill-mannered funeral home attendants merely laid him at the front of the room on his back, his hands positioned in the classic "mime in a box" pose.

actually, I'm starting to feel guilty about such a cheap laugh. For some inexplicable reason, people googling for "marcel marceau funeral" find my silly posting near the top of the list.
