Reading the Remains of the Guacamole Dip

In the tradition of reading tea leaves, I'm going to make yesterday's defeat of Patriots and Saints mean something. What can one predict about 2007 based on the NFL championship games? What does it mean that these idealized paragons of church and state were sent home?
