Chapter 7 Change in Thinking Video - Leadership

In this final chapter, I simply declare that just as it would be good for a person living in Itay to speak Italian, so it would be good for a person dealing with systems to adopt systems thinking.

Systems thinking will be to the next economy what reductionist, or analytical, thinking was to the industrial revolution. It's time to begin taking a systems perspective.

What can I say after watching all 7 chapters?

# A multitude of ideas!!! :)

# I found the video very condensed. In it there is enough stuff for 7 videos @ 30 mins. each :)

# The speech/pause ratio could be adjusted a bit to give the viewer's brain some moments for relaxation :)

Vladimir,
All very good feedback, thanks. (I should have known you back in '94 when I was making this.) I think I showed more enthusiasm for these ideas than wisdom about rate of learning, etc.

:)

Last night I even sat down and searched the Internet for studies about the optimal talk/pause ratio for learning. I thought "somebody must have done such a study", but alas, nada :)

Vladimir,
Bill Clinton gave George W. advice as he handed over the keys to the White House. Speak more slowly than you think you should, or something to that effect. Or, conversely, chew your words 32 times before spitting them out.
